The most crucial unit within drilling management is the drilling engineering section, which, with its experienced engineers, combines scientific knowledge and practical experience to develop drilling fluid and waste management programs, technical documents, final well reports, and daily, weekly, and monthly engineering operation reports. Subunits of this department include:
- Drilling fluid management unit
In case of the need for supplementary fluid programs or changes to the drilling program due to issues such as sidetracking, blowouts, or severe losses and etc., these tasks are handled by the engineering unit.
The experts in this unit use the latest global software for designing and planning deviated and horizontal wells, hydraulic drilling design software and other soft wares for drilling fluid calculations, ensuring complete integration within a short time among the aforementioned units.
The operational members of the drilling engineering unit include a professional team of 30 senior experts and skilled drilling fluid and waste management specialists with over ten years of experience, stationed at operational rigs with round-the-clock support and guidance from the Tehran office to execute pre-determined engineering programs and supply the necessary materials and services for projects.
Specialized and laboratory equipment is available in complete packages and is permanently stationed at laboratory units in Saveh and Ahvaz. Additionally, similar packages of equipment and mobile units are deployed at the rig sites for the company’s projects.
