The Azar Oil Field is one of Iran’s oil fields, located in the east of Mehran County, Ilam Province. The reservoir of this field is shared with the Badra oil field in Iraq and is situated along the northwestern extension of the independent Changuleh oil field. The Azar field holds 2.5 billion barrels of oil in place, with an estimated recoverable amount of 400 million barrels.
